Quilt by Lori Mason

This quilt by Lori Mason is called "Eva in the Garden." It measures 50" x 42." See her work at Lori Mason Designs.

I'm not sure I understand this image, but I like the quilt. When Eve was in the Garden of Eden, there was no need for the cross. After the fall, she wasn't in the Garden any more. But of course, I understand the concept of a repentant Eve. Very creative.

  1. Actually, this quilt has nothing to do with Eve. I made it in honor of my late grandmother, Eva, out of her reclaimed jeans, Oxford shirts, and favorite pair of gardening shorts - hence the name Eva in the Garden. Hope this clarifies your confusion.

  2. I love this quilt! It is absolutely beautiful. I have always admired quilts made out of used clothing. It is even more meaningful when we create them ourselves and the garments we use once belonged to our loved ones!
Lori, you did a marvelous job with it.
    Thank you both for sharing.
