This quilt was made by Barbara Harrison of Doylestown, PA, and some of her friends. It was a birthday present, of sorts. Barbara prepared packages of fabrics and instructions for nine quilting buddies. As you can see, the instructions were not rigid, and we all did our "own thing." Fortunately, Barbara likes this happy-heartedness. She did the stunning border, assembly and quilting herself. Happy Birthday, Barbara! :) P.S. I made the block in the upper left corner. I like the curvy stem in the center block.

My husband and I live in the beautiful hills of Litchfield, Connecticut. We have two grown sons: a photographer in NYC, and a retailer/artist in CT. Our DIL is studying to be a Physician's Assistant.
We enjoy hiking, photography, watching movies, eating pizza, and visiting with family.
